Here we go once more with these annoying calls. I keep putting in reports, but honestly, it feels like nothing changes. They’re not getting a penny out of me. Why can't these people just find real jobs? After all, everyone has to earn their living somehow.

I received a missed call that sent me straight to voicemail, and in there, I found a rather robotic message claiming to be from Compare My Insurance concerning my policy. They mentioned they'd be in touch again, but if I was eager to chat, I could ring them back on the number 0161...... To be honest, I can't help but feel suspicious about the whole thing. I sorted out my insurance policies directly with the bank, not via any comparison service. Seems a bit dodgy to me!

The chap on the other end had quite a hard-to-understand accent, probably someone from India. He started prattling on about debts and the government, which didn't sit right with me, so I decided to cut the conversation short and promptly blocked the number.

Since I’m really careful about my bills, I told him to just post me something in writing and I’d get back to him then.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent saying they were calling from the UK Benefits Office. They told me I qualified for an additional life insurance payout and asked which company my life insurance was through. When I asked for their details, they refused to give a name and just dodged any questions about what the UK Benefits Office actually is or what their role involves. Got a call from a bloke with a heavy Asian accent that was really hard to catch. He mentioned the UK tax office, so I guessed he was pretending to be from them. Then he went on about me having multiple unsecured loans, which was obviously not true. I just put the phone down straight away. Pretty clear this is a total scam, so stay well clear.

Got a call from +441212852391 at about 12:25. The guy on the phone had an Indo-Asian accent and said he was ringing from some insurance firm, trying to pitch extra perks on my life insurance. He wanted to know who my provider was, but I just told him that’s private and not his concern. Then he told me not to be rude which felt super odd. Pretty sure it’s a scam, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

It was a bit unsettling how he already had my name and number. He was offering extra perks on my life insurance and rattled off a few firms, asking which one I was with. As I happen to be a client of one of those firms, I wasn’t sure if this was legit or some sort of scam. I asked him to send me the details by email, but he wouldn’t give me his contact and just insisted he must already have my email. Then he just cut me off suddenly.

Some bloke with an Asian accent was really dodgy when I asked him who he was and which company he was from. SCAM ALERT - I had a rather dodgy call from an unprofessional woman claiming to represent a Credit Department. She mentioned something about a supposed £10K debt of mine, yet she wouldn’t disclose the name of the company. That’s certainly not how proper credit agencies conduct business. It’s evident that this is a blatant scam, and I had no intention of engaging any further!
