So today, on 10th March around 1:10pm, I got a call from some guy with an Indian accent. He claimed I’d been approved for a loan up to £3,000 and said they could send the money to me within 45 minutes of hanging up. The weird thing was, he said I wouldn’t get any paperwork by email or anything, just that the funds would come first (which sounds ridiculous) and then paperwork would arrive by post later. After all these “great” offers, he asked me for a £100 fee that would be refunded to me. Hearing that raised red flags, so I jumped online and found a few posts warning about this exact scam. When I mentioned that, the bloke insisted it’s not a scam and even said he knew about those warnings. He told me to ring back once I made up my mind. Just a heads up to folks - don’t fall for this rubbish. Total joke, really.

I recently discovered that this phone number is affiliated with a fraudulent loan company named instantleandsuk. I ended up losing a significant sum of money because I was duped by their tactics. I've reported the incident to both my bank and Action Fraud. Interestingly, their website has now vanished.
