I received a dodgy call earlier that pretended to be from 'BT' concerning some alleged security issues. The person on the other end, who had a pronounced accent that sounded Asian, provided me with a so-called 'Customer License' code and number. To my surprise, they were able to confirm my full name. I didn't disclose any personal information, and as soon as I mentioned that I was aware it was a scam, the call abruptly ended. Quite the nerve, isn't it?
