Absolutely, folks - if you’re getting swamped with calls, I say have a bit of fun with it like I do. Just come up with a random tale and see if they’ll sit through it. I once gave a spiel about the best way to care for your garden to get the grass looking lush. Now, they just ring occasionally and hang up straight away once they clock it’s me.

Sounds like it’s some folks from Birmingham reading straight from a script. It’s likely a third-party claims outfit that’s fiddled the contact details from a proper claims agency just to drum up clients. Best bet? Keep them hanging and record the convo. Annoying calls nonstop! Some PPI company ringing me up again. Last night just when I was about to go out, had to hang up to stop them chatting. So this company called The Claims Guys got my husband interested in finding out if we had any PPI we could claim back. Even though it kinda feels like a cold call, whenever they ring me, it's actually to give updates about our claims. I even asked them to hold off contacting me for about ten days after my operation so I could rest, and they were really understanding about giving me that space before getting back to me.

This is The Claims Guys. My partner asked them to check if we had any PPI we could claim back. Although their calls seem like cold calls, every time they get in touch it’s actually about progress with our claim. They were really understanding when I requested a break from calls for 10 days after my surgery so I could rest up before sorting the claim out again.

These guys kept ringing me non stop, even when I was in hospital feeling terrible. I was getting like 15-20 calls daily. Sometimes they wouldnt say a word, just silence or weird noises, never actually speaking to me. It only made my time in hospital that much more stressful and awful.

If it's really The Claims Guys like loads of people here are saying, I already told them when I picked up last time that another firm is handling my PPI claim. This number has been ringing me quite a bit, sometimes even late in the evening around 8pm. One time I actually picked up and the person on the other end kept saying I was linked to a car accident, which I’m absolutely not. Even after I denied it, they kept claiming I was involved. The voice sounded like it was Indian and they were quite rude, basically ignoring everything I said. I told them to stop calling and hung up. Despite that, they keep phoning, but I just don’t answer anymore. Seriously, no means no, no matter the language! If you’re getting calls like this, I’d recommend reaching out to Ofcom or your phone provider to have these calls looked into and put an end to them.

For the last couple weeks, I've been getting calls that ring twice and then stop, happening a few times each day except on Sundays. Samsung reckons it's some sort of advert. I haven’t bothered returning the calls since they keep switching numbers and seem to be operating out of Birmingham.
