I just received a rather unwelcome call from someone who was clearly a cold caller. They were prattling on about my roof and windows, insisting they represented a company called British Style. Quite off-putting, to say the least!

Got a call from them, they already knew my name and my street, plus that I'd looked for some work a while back. I guess they must’ve grabbed my info from a site like Rated People. They didn’t say who they were properly and tried to pressure me into picking a job right then and there, saying they’d be working nearby soon. I told them I wasn’t interested and just blocked the number.

Got a call about fascia selling. A person came round to the house first, then when i didnt pick up the phone they started banging on my door and windows and shouting through the letterbox. Really scary and felt quite intimidating.

They’ve been ringing me quite a bit these past few weeks even though I told them I wasn’t interested last year. Now I just ignore their calls, fingers crossed they’ll get the hint soon! Also, if you want to stop them, make sure you ask to have your number taken off their list or mention you’re signed up with the T.P.S. (telephone preference service). If they keep hassling you after 28 days, they can actually get fined. Or you could always just leave your phone off the hook and get on with some jobs around the house 😂

Bright Store Home Improvements - they picked up right away and when I told them I had a missed call from them, they asked for my last name. I was a bit suspicious so didn’t want to give it, and asked what company they were with. They said Bright Store Home Improvements. I then asked if they were just cold calling, and they claimed they only call people they’d spoken to last year. They tried to get my info again, saying they could remove me from their list or else I’d keep getting calls. I told them no thanks, I’d just block the number, then said goodbye.

Bright Star Windows and Doors called me back even though they left no voicemail. The moment I said I wasn’t looking to replace anything, they just hung up on me. Pretty rude! If that’s any sign of how they deal with customers, I definitely wouldn’t buy anything from them.
