I just had a right unexpected phone call from this number, claiming I’m entitled to a refund. However, I’ve never taken out a loan in my own name; it’s always been my husband’s. When I mentioned this, the bloke on the line just shrugged it off, saying that since we're married, I could still make a claim. I mean, seriously? What about the Data Protection Act, eh? This is clearly another dodgy scam!

It seems I've been inundated by yet another PPI claims agency. They rang both my landline and mobile, as well as my wife's phone!

They were all too eager to verify our personal details - address, email, the whole shebang. Frankly, I have no idea how they acquired that information. I wasn’t inclined to engage with them and chose to remain silent on that front.

They insisted on assisting us with a claim, but when I mentioned I’d notify the ICO about their antics, they ended the call with some rather rude remarks. Quite audacious, really!
