Got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft Cyber Security. They asked me to check my computer licence number and even gave what they said was my number. I told them I wasn’t comfortable doing that since I had no idea where to look for it. They insisted they’d guide me through it, but I ended the call because it felt suspicious and like a scam.

On Monday 14/11/22, I noticed a missed call from 01212700683. No idea who it was, but it kinda felt like it might be some sort of scam? Just thought I’d share in case anyone else has had the same.

Hung up straight away when I got the answering machine.

This bloke said he was from Microsoft. I told him we were sick of getting calls like this. He just went, "Yeah, I know you are." After that, I just ended the call.
