Had the first of two calls this morning, claiming to be from BT, asserting that my internet would be cut off today. They instructed me to press 1 for their so-called 'technicians' to sort it out, or 2 to proceed with the disconnection. The second call mirrored the first, coming from 01663010715. The message was pre-recorded, articulated deliberately and clearly by a gentleman with a mild English accent, speaking in a neutral tone. There was an absence of inflection, making it seem rather robotic. I hung up both times, not wanting to entertain their nonsense.
