Today I got two calls claiming they were from BT saying my internet would be cut off today. The automated voice, a calm man with a soft British accent, said to press 1 to let their "engineers" sort it, or press 2 to go ahead with the disconnection. Both calls were exactly the same, the second one came from 01663010715. The message was slow and clear, sounded like something pre-recorded rather than a person talking naturally. I just hung up both times without replying.
