I got a call from a recorded voice claiming to be from VISA MASTERCARD. It told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel a payment of £600 that supposedly went through around 09:45 on 11/12/2019, just 10 minutes earlier. I didn’t trust it, so I just hung up straight away and then blocked the number. I reckon if I had pressed 1, it might have hooked me up to some expensive scam or just invited even more dodgy calls.
