I received a call from someone claiming to be with BT's technical support, stating there was some suspicious activity detected on my computer. At that moment, I decided to hang up.

On 08/06/19 around 10:08, I got a robot voice from an American bloke saying the call was “from BT” and warning about some malware attack on my broadband. It told me to press “#1” to talk to a “BT rep” to stop fraud and avoid being arrested. Sounded dodgy as anything, so I hung up immediately.
