3 yearsI was out when the phone rang but nobody left a message. Earlier that day, someone with a strange accent called me claiming they were from BT. They said my broadband had been moved from a private to a public network and asked if I’d authorised it. They told me to log into Google and do some stuff if I hadn’t. I told them I didn’t believe they were really with BT and their response didn’t convince me, so I just hung up. Right after that, my phone rang again but I didn’t pick up, thinking it was the same caller. I used 1471 to check the number and it showed up as 0035321209985. I looked up that number here and it didn’t seem legit. Later, after being out for a bit, I saw I’d got a call from 01212440624, which apparently belongs to Virgin Media.
