Reports on phone number 01212408516
11 yearsThis morning, I got a call from this number. The person said she was from some firm called GK, saying Lloyds Bank wanted to make changes to their credit cards and needed customer feedback. The lady sounded quite polite and had a proper English accent. I told her straight up that I never chat about these things on unsolicited calls. She then said the survey wouldn’t be done over the phone, so I asked if they'd book an appointment at the bank. She replied a researcher would visit us in person. On top of that, they promised a £50 discount from Lloyds as a thank-you for participating. This all felt dodgy to me, especially since when I searched this number online through various phone lookup tools, no company name showed up at all. Later on, I rang Lloyds card services to double-check. The chap there compared the number with those of their official research partners and said it wasn’t linked to any of them. He also mentioned he hadn’t heard of any £50 incentive scheme like this either. So yeah, I reckon this is a scam. Just a heads-up to everyone to be careful with calls like these! Caller said GK, but looks very suspicious.GKLloyds BankLloyds11 yearsGot a call earlier today from this number. The lady on the line, sounded like proper English, said she was from this company called GK and claimed Lloyds bank wanted to make some changes to their credit cards and needed feedback from customers. I told her I don’t just chat about personal bank stuff with random calls. She then said the survey wouldn’t be done on the phone, so I asked if someone would actually visit us for the chat. She mentioned a researcher would come by and that we’d get £50 off Loyds as a thank you. Smelled fishy to me straight away. I looked up the number on a few reverse phone sites, but there’s no info or name linked to it. I rang Lloyds card support too and the bloke there confirmed the number wasn’t connected to any of their approved research companies, plus he hadn’t heard of any £50 reward deal. I’m telling you, it’s almost certainly a scam, so watch out everyone!GKLloyds BankLloydsSubmit Your Own Report (0121 240 8516)
