Some bloke called and asked if he was talking to our firm, even using our company’s name. At first, I thought it was a genuine guy offering discounts on Openreach services. But when I started asking how to spell his company’s name, it quickly became obvious it was just a smart automated system with only a few preset replies. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number straight away.

Got a call from 01212362088, they were trying to get my bank info. This guy sounded really bitter, moaning about how his business is going under, blaming the mess the British economy’s in. When I answered the call the first time, there was just silence on the other end. The same number kept ringing me afterwards, so I decided to put it on my block list.
