I saw some paperwork about a Direct Debit linked to this number that I never approved. By the time I called them up, they'd already withdrawn £19.50 from my bank account.

So I got a call from the direct debit team in Zurich and London after I asked a question. Honestly, they were pretty legit, nothing sketchy about it.

some dodgy direct debit got added to my bank account without me knowing. i called up my bank to sort it out and they told me it was something to do with "1&2 re-updraft credit" and gave me a phone number linked to it. just before i had a chance to call that number, they’d already taken £166.38 from my balance. be careful out there!

This is definitely a scam! They're trying to swindle bank information to seize £170 under the pretence of a maintenance contract for a second-hand washing machine belonging to a gentleman suffering from dementia. Disgraceful behaviour!
