Got a call bothering me about a car crash, total nuisance.

Got a call from 0121 7160654 saying I’d been in a car crash. I told them I don’t even have a licence! She just kept asking when the accident was supposed to have happened. I just ended the call, feeling a bit smug about spotting their nonsense.

So, this number kept ringing me and a posh British lady answered at first, saying she was from Adept Consultancy Services and mentioned something about a car crash. I don’t recall having any accidents, but after a few calls I thought I’d humour them and said yeah, sure. Then she handed me over to some bloke with a thick Indian accent, which made me think it was probably some call centre abroad. He claimed to be a personal injury expert and wanted to get some info from me. I just dragged it out for a bit for a laugh before finally ending the call.

Got a call out of the blue from someone asking about a car crash they said I was part of. Definitely a cold call and quite confusing!

My phone buzzed with a call from this number, but I had no clue who it was. To figure it out, I put my phone near the speaker blasting “Cave” by Future Islands - it's their newest track. The music was pretty loud, so I’m hoping they won’t bother trying to call me again!
