I received an unexpected phone call from a chap who identified himself as "Jason," attempting to discuss a supposed road incident and some form of "compensation." His manner of speaking was somewhat less than polished, to say the least. He asserted he had information sourced from the Motor Insurance Data Agencies, whatever that means! Frankly, his intellect seemed to be only slightly superior to that of a plodder, judging by his delivery. I've made sure to report this nuisance to the Telephone Preference Service.

I tried ringing that number again at 9 PM after they had the audacity to contact me at 6:35 earlier. Now it seems the line's gone dead. Quite infuriating, really!

On the 7th of January 2017 at around half past nine in the morning, I received a call from this number. I chose not to pick up as it wasn’t a number I was familiar with. They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail, which I found a bit odd. Having spotted these remarks now, I’m definitely going to add this number to my block list.

This is clearly a spoofed number, disguised as a local Birmingham contact to entice unsuspecting folk into picking up the phone. You'll notice that there's no exchange corresponding to the so-called 0121 227. It's quite maddening that these unscrupulous pests can acquire such numbers from legitimate providers. They ought to make it illegal to sell these deceptive digits, as they're purely crafted for duplicitous reasons, and are bound to be wielded by those with nefarious intentions!

I've been inundated with calls from this particular number, and no matter what I do, they just won't cease. Every time I attempt to ring back, all I get is a monotonous message about everyone's too occupied to answer. So, I've decided to just disregard their calls altogether when they come through.

They had some information about a minor incident I encountered a few years back, which made me curious to continue the conversation. They mentioned that they had wrapped up their case, but honestly, I now reckon I should’ve just hung up instead of entertaining the call.

I received a similar call today, 1st December 2016. They claimed to be contacting me on behalf of my insurance to wrap up a prior accident claim (as if!). Naturally, I told them I had never been in an accident. Their mistake came when they asked whether anyone at my address had been in a mishap, which clued me in that it was yet another dodgy whiplash claim inquiry. I firmly stated that neither I nor anyone else had experienced an accident, and even if we had, I'd only communicate directly with my insurance provider and their approved contacts since I pay for that assurance through my premium. This is what the industry dubs a 'warm call', starting off with this ridiculous talk about finalising claims. It’s actually my insurance company that handles claim closures, not some random third-party personal injury firm ringing out of the blue. Just steer clear of them and don’t engage!
