Got a call on my phone this morning. Only close family have my number, so I didn’t pick up when it rang.

Got a call from a woman at 1:54pm on 30/11/2020 about some green scheme. She asked for me by name. Told her I don't receive any qualifying benefits, and she said it’s not means tested. I said I wasn’t sure what she wanted me to say, then she just hung up. Blocked the number straight away.

Got a call and asked who was calling. The guy said something about green measures. When I asked what he wanted, he kept pushing me to give my name and address. Got a bit annoyed and when I said no, he started getting rude. Told him to stop calling me and he said he wouldn’t remove me until I "listened". I just hung up and blocked the number.

I told him exactly what I thought, with some choice words. Feel bad for those who actually believe that rubbish. He was on about how my windows needed updating 'cause the government wants us to be more efficient for climate change, and said there was some grant available for new windows. I told him I’m a gas engineer, know a thing or two about energy efficiency, then gave him a good telling off.
