This number rang me saying they were from my life insurance, but couldn’t provide the policy number, expiry date or even the premium sum. They were asking to renew it and wanted my policy info plus bank details. Big alarm bells. I said no and they got really annoyed before hanging up. When I pointed out that if he had documentation on my debts, he’d undoubtedly know the figures better than I do, he simply retorted that I was wasting his time (can you believe it?!) and even went as far as to call me an idiot. My husband received a call on his mobile from someone inquiring for 'Mr Steve'. They started off by asking if he’d been fully vaccinated and whether he had the physical confirmation of it. The chap then inquired if he experienced any adverse reactions. Next, the caller queried about life insurance, to which my husband replied in the negative, despite actually having a policy. The man responded with, "But I can see that you do!" When my husband pointed this out, the caller retorted that he simply needed the name of the insurance provider. When my husband admitted he wasn't sure, the caller pressed on, suggesting that he mustn't actually hold any policy. The entire exchange was quite drawn out until the man abruptly demanded information for some supposed government rebate, getting rather irritable in the process. We ended up disconnecting the call. Someone rang a bit ago, I told ’em I wasn’t interested. Then they rang again yesterday, so I looked them up and saw it was something about oven cleaner! Then I remembered they’d called before. My landline's only been active a few months and I haven’t given the number to anyone, don’t even know how they got it.

Has any one actually booked an oven clean after getting those annoying calls (mostly) from Birmingham? If yes, did the ringing stop for a while before or after the cleaners done their thing? If there isn’t some massive grime-busting giant hiding behind these blasted calls, then what’s the real reason? I reckon they’re just tryin’ to see who’s home during the day, makin’ owning a phone even more useless.

They kept ringing me like four times every single day.

They keep ringing our business like 3 or 4 times every day. I talked to them a couple times last week and they promised to take our number off their list but they havent stopped calling. This morning I asked to speak to a manager and they just hung up on me. Strangely, now no one is picking up my calls! Someone seriously needs to put an end to this, its getting on my nerves and feels like harassment.

They ring at pretty much the same time each day - no one picks up, and if you try to ring them back, it’s either a quick hang up, background noise like a call centre, or someone speaking with a Brummy accent (seems a bit like a trained Indian?) saying they run a super busy nationwide oven cleaning business. Apparently, they’re so swamped calling the same numbers over and over that they can’t keep up with booking any oven cleaning appointments properly.

Got a call yesterday, told them I’m signed up with TPS, she said she’d take my number off their list. I’ve reported it to TPS but they said they can't help since they couldn't figure out the firm. I've blocked the number but they've still rung me two times today.

please dont pick up. oven cleaners keep calling nonstop. its really annoying and feels like harrassment now. seriously, they should be stopped from ringing all the time. something has to be done about this nonstop bothering.

Got a call again from this number today. First time it was dead silence then just a click. Been getting loads of calls from them about oven cleaning or fixing appliances. Really annoying!
