Last Friday, the 11th of November, I had a rather peculiar phone call from 01212240403. An individual with an accent that seemed to be from abroad claimed that I had an outstanding debt for some software on my computer. Quite an unusual situation, to say the least!

I keep getting calls from someone with a foreign accent claiming they’re from some Internet Security Service, saying I owe money for a supposed insurance deal. They usually ring from a Birmingham number, which I just block. Then a few times, I get another call from what looks like a Bristol number, and my phone flags it as “suspected spam.” I always just let them go on without answering.

Got a call from this number a few times but when I tried ringing back it said the number’s not real. Strange!
