somebody called me claiming they were amazon, asking if i’d recently ordered an amazon gift card to be sent somewhere in london. i told her no, and she tried to say she could cancel the transaction. i hung up and double checked my amazon account for any strange buys, but of course it turned out to be a scam like i'd expected.
