Got a call from someone claiming to be a BT Engineer with an American accent, saying there was illegal interference on my internet line. They warned me that I could face prosecution if I didn’t press ‘1’ right away. Totally fishy. I just hung up and later tried ringing the number back, but it wouldn’t connect at all. Definitely a scam.
