Got a call from some lady asking about the electric gadgets in my house, sounded fishy so I just blocked the number. My block list is getting massive because of these types of scam calls.

Couple of minutes after my initial call (check out my earlier bit about social housing) I got another ring but it just bounced to voicemail. I was a bit on edge about that review I mentioned. When I checked the voicemail, the message said “Hello? Hello? Hello, is that Mrs (shortened name from before)? Uh, Simon here, but you know, from the number ending in (last four digits of my number).” That was it, no more messages after that.

They rang me but didn’t bother leaving a message.

Right away it showed up as a spam number. Could be a scam or someone cold calling. I never pick up numbers I don’t know or ring back, especially if they don’t drop a message.
