Didn’t answer the phone, thankfully! It was one of those annoying calls about accident claims. I've already blocked the number, so it goes straight to spam now and I never have to deal with it again. If you’ve got a smartphone, I’d totally recommend using the spam blocking feature - it saves you from all those irritating calls. Once you do that, spam calls become a real pain less often!

I received a call from a number I didn't recognise, so I chose to let it ring off. Out of curiosity, I tried dialling it from my landline, only to be met with a message saying the number wasn't in service. Clearly a scam, as a legitimate number would typically inform you that it’s not accepting incoming calls. Do take care and steer clear if they give you a bell - better safe than sorry!
