loads of answerphone messages saying they're from 02, but every time I pick up the phone goes straight dead. then there’s another answerphone message left. I tried looking for the number on the 02 site and couldn’t find it anywhere, so I’m not bothering to ring back. feels dodgy to me.

I’ve been getting calls from a different number, 03309952421, and each time there’s an automated message saying they couldn’t get hold of me. It tells me to ring back if I want to talk to an adviser. This number is somehow connected to O2, but I have a full block on O2 calls that I arranged in person at a shop. They assured me no calls from actual O2 would get through after that. I’ve now blocked the 0330 number so it’s auto-rejected, but I’m still getting the voicemail left on my phone. This week alone, they’ve dialled me four times.

For the past few weeks, I’ve been getting calls from this number almost daily, with them leaving over ten voicemails. When I finally rang back today, it picked up saying it was the 02 business centre, offering four options to choose from. Then they asked me to hold for an advisor, but it just went silent. I’ve had enough and ended up blocking the number now.

To my surprise, I stumbled across a plethora of negative reviews about it. Then, about thirty minutes later, they rang my son's phone claiming to be from O2 and asking if he’d like an upgrade. When he requested that they contact us as the account holders, they abruptly hung up. Clearly a scam!

I can't quite say if it’s the identical number calling me each time, but I’ve received around five calls from some mysterious 012 number in the past few months.
