loads of answerphone messages saying they're from 02, but every time I pick up the phone goes straight dead. then there’s another answerphone message left. I tried looking for the number on the 02 site and couldn’t find it anywhere, so I’m not bothering to ring back. feels dodgy to me.

I’ve been getting calls from a different number, 03309952421, and each time there’s an automated message saying they couldn’t get hold of me. It tells me to ring back if I want to talk to an adviser. This number is somehow connected to O2, but I have a full block on O2 calls that I arranged in person at a shop. They assured me no calls from actual O2 would get through after that. I’ve now blocked the 0330 number so it’s auto-rejected, but I’m still getting the voicemail left on my phone. This week alone, they’ve dialled me four times.

Then, about thirty minutes later, they rang my son asking if he wanted to upgrade with O2. When my son told them to speak to us, the account holders, they just ended the call. I’m not sure if it’s the exact same 012 number but over the past few months I've gotten around five calls from unknown 012 numbers. Each time there’s just silence, nobody says anything at all. I’m gonna block the number now and see if that stops them. If I keep getting calls from different 012 numbers, I’ll probably have to get in touch with 02 about it :(
