Got a call from these "cfs" people asking for the company director. When i told them he wasn't available and i'd have to get them to leave a number for a call back, they just cut off. They've done this loads of times before. Sometimes they just ring and hang up right after i pick up.

Got a call from some dodgy debt collection firm about my son, who runs an IT business. The woman had a thick accent, sounded like she could’ve been from South Africa. I told her to ring back, and when she did, which was almost instantly, I asked where she got my number since it’s not listed as a contact for his company. Then I raised the possibility it might be a scam. She then hung up almost immediately. Definitely blocked and reported them.

Got a call from some debt collector, but the accent was so thick I struggled to get what they were saying. Might have been calling from CSS or CFS, not really sure. I gave them my first name and somehow they worked out my last name. I told them we didn’t want any assistance and then they just ended the call.

I've received three calls from this number and I can’t quite figure out how they got hold of my details. They don’t seem particularly clever and the whole thing feels a bit off, if I’m honest. Definitely gives me a dodgy vibe.

It seems this chap, going by the name Smith - how amusing - has a bit of an accent that’s rather different from what you'd expect!
