My 12 year old daughter has a brand new phone, and this number keeps ringing her. She's hardly used it, only made like a few calls. Her number is connected to my O2 mobile account, and as far as I can tell, she hasn't given her number out on any sites or to anyone. I'm wondering how on earth they got her number? Could it be related to 02277 maybe?

I got a call from this number earlier, but I was a bit preoccupied and picked up without thinking. As soon as I noticed who it was, I hung up straight away!

I usually don’t pick up calls from this number since it’s clearly some kind of spam. I’m very careful about who I share my phone number with - just close family and trusted businesses that I’m sure won’t sell my info. It’s quite concerning how this company got hold of my number. The only possible source would be my mobile provider. Oddly enough, this exact same number has also rung my daughter’s brand new phone - fresh out the box just a few days ago - which is with the same network. Is it possible BT are leaking their customers’ details to marketers? Very fishy.

this morning i got a call from 01211988719, and it sounded like some voice-activated setup. a woman said she thought i’d been in a car crash or something. weird thing is, the same lady called me before from a london number and then again from one in newcastle. she really seems to be all over the place! these spammers using fake local numbers to trick people should seriously be banned. laws should change so companies that hide behind unregistered numbers can’t get away with this nonsense.

i didnt pick up and then just a minute later this manchester number 01618147519 called me. i left a message for them as well and now im thinking if theres maybe some link between these two calls. both numbers went unanswered by me, super frustrating. i ended up blocking the last one already.

Only a handful of people have my phone number, and it's just for certain important reasons.
