I got a call from someone saying they were from BT tech support, saying my computer was sending error alerts. I asked them how they could possibly know that, and they said they were monitoring my phone line. I told them that means they were illegally tapping my line since no software on my end could send them that info. Then I mentioned I actually work for BT myself, and they just hung up on me.
