I got a call from a lady speaking with an Asian accent saying there was an issue with the phone line nearby. Right away, I thought something was fishy when she said I had to sit at my computer. The moment I hung up, the same number rang back, then another one showed up with the area code 0121 but the rest was 4411096. Definitely scammers, and honestly not very convincing ones either.

I got a call from a lady speaking with an Asian accent, saying there was some issue with the phone connection where I live. I was immediately suspicious when she started telling me I had to be at my computer. As soon as I ended the call, the same number rang right back, and then another call came through from a similar 0121 code but with 4411096 after it. Definitely scammers, and not even very clever ones at that.
