Sounds like a woman at first but I’m pretty sure it’s just a really good recorded message. They always ask if you’ve been in a car crash in the past couple of years. It’s baffling how these numbers aren’t blocked. Make sure you sign up with the Telephone Preference Service (it’s legit, just google it) - you’ll notice fewer calls after about a month. After that, you can report the numbers, which usually leads to fines for them, though you don’t get any cash back. Reported this one yesterday after they rang me.

Just received a call a mere five minutes ago, informing me that I was somehow implicated in a car accident that wasn't my doing. Naturally, I inquired about the source of this dubious claim. They said it was from the RTA database or some such nonsense! I straightaway told them they were mistaken and promptly ended the call. Their replies were sluggish and had that robotic tone to them, making it all the more suspicious.
