Initially, there was complete silence on the other end, then suddenly a stream of scripted words finished with "how are you today ma'am?" The bloke had a thick Asian accent that was pretty hard to miss. Claimed to be from BT Openreach and said there was some strange activity coming from my router, wanting to talk about any issues. I wasn’t having any of it and shut him down quickly. I can’t see them bothering to ring me again.
