I've received calls repeatedly from individuals claiming to represent BT, yet they always call from a different number, like 01277431085 and 01265071138. It's the same recorded message each time!

Got a call with an American accent from someone claiming to be TalkTalk, saying my internet would be cut off today. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to keep the service or 2 to cancel straight away. I didn’t press anything and just ended the call. Felt fishy to me, especially since TalkTalk never use automated messages and usually mention your name or account number. I’m guessing if I’d stayed on they’d try to get my card info or something dodgy.
