I got a robocall claiming to be from HMRC saying they were taking legal action against me. They asked me to press 1 to speak about it, so I did. A bloke who said he was John Thomson from HMRC answered and asked why I was calling. I told him I wasn’t the one calling, someone else had rung me earlier. Then he asked for my date of birth to "help" me, but I refused to share any details. He then said if I didn’t provide that, I’d have to wait for someone else to ring me back. Definitely a scam, don’t hand out any personal info.
