At the moment I’ve lost my voice because my throat's all swollen up and I’m waiting to get seen at the hospital. This person on the phone was proper cruel, mocking me. I tried saying hello a few times but it just came out like a weak croak. Then they go whispering back, asking why we’re whispering. Honestly, it was really upsetting since they showed no sympathy at all for how bad I am right now.

As an independent woman who has proudly purchased my own home, I had quite the experience today. My landline, which is under an old directory, rang, and my male carer picked it up. On the other end was a woman with an Indian accent, inquiring if he was Mr H #####. He calmly responded that he wasn’t, but when he asked who she wished to speak with, she abruptly hung up on him. It completely baffles me who she was trying to reach. It happened around lunchtime, and I’m absolutely fed up with these incessant cold calls!

I don't really know what business this is, but when I asked who was calling, they just hung up. I tried to call the number back but it wouldn't go through. They did ask for me by my name and it’s been quite a few calls from them.
