I received a call claiming I had been in a car crash (which, in fact, I had). Instinctively, I realised it was all just a ruse, so I let them ramble on. They went on about how others involved were experiencing whiplash and various aches, and suggested that I could settle compensation directly with them without it impacting my insurance. Yet, the reality was, I was the only one in the incident (!). When I confronted them about their dishonest tactics, the caller became exceedingly rude, hurling insults at me and calling me a 'dim-witted woman', among other derogatory remarks. Ever since that call, they’ve been bombarding my home and mobile with constant calls, all to hurl more abuse my way - it’s infuriating! I’ve reported their harassment to the authorities.
