I got a call saying I’d been in a crash (which actually did happen) but I was sure it was some scam, so I just played along... They claimed the others were suffering from whiplash and other pains, saying I could sort out compensation with them straight away without it touching my insurance. Thing is, there wasn’t even anyone else in the crash! When I called them out for being dodgy con artists, the caller started swearing and calling me names like “stupid woman.” Since then, they’ve been nonstop ringing my home and mobile just to abuse me. I’ve had enough and reported it to the police.
