It appeared that the individuals behind the scheme were based in India, and they managed to withdraw £55 directly from our account. Their reference was 'W. Loanteam.' Just five minutes after we provided them with our personal information, they had the audacity to reach out again five days later. When we confronted them about the unauthorised transaction, they outright denied any wrongdoing. We haven't heard a peep from them since. Ultimately, this fiasco has cost us £90, as we went overdrawn and accrued additional bank charges. Avoid them at all costs!

It seems they were of Indian origin. They managed to withdraw £55 from our bank account after we provided our details. Their reference was something along the lines of www.loanteam. Just five minutes after we shared our information, they had the audacity to chase us again five days later. When we confronted them, they outright denied taking any money. It’s been radio silence from them ever since. In total, we've ended up losing £90 due to being overdrawn and racking up bank charges. Best to steer clear of these folk!

This lot rang us thrice this afternoon before we finally answered. When we did, we greeted them just to hear back, “Is this Dick?” or “You’re a right numpty!” So, to put it plainly, we don’t reckon it’s worth our time at all.

The company in question goes by the name Lead Alley, and they're involved in payday loan services. It seems that their calls originate from India, and it's quite evident that they struggle to accept refusals!

Had three phone calls yesterday, including this one and two where they couldn’t disclose the number. One had an accent that seemed to be from India, I reckon. Regarding the number 021 111 1111, I’m sceptical that it’s from overseas since I've recently upgraded to phones that let me block international and payphone calls. I can certainly block “No Caller ID” and “Withheld Number,” but I’m apprehensive that I might end up missing important calls in the process.

I've received quite a few annoying calls lately all about PPI regarding Lloyds and NatWest. Honestly, I just let them ring on without picking up. It’s rather vexing, and I really hope they cease these persistent calls soon!
