Just like everyone else here, I got a call from scammers wanting my info. They try to gather as much personal stuff as possible and then pass it on to other scammers who try different tricks to get even more from you. DON'T GIVE THEM A SINGLE THING. These idiots are truly a nightmare. One way to annoy them is to grab one of those referee whistles, the Acme ones, y’know? When you’ve got their full attention, give it a blast as loud as you can. Then sit back and chuckle knowing you probably just ruined their day a bit.

Absolutely scammers, stay clear! :) Dont answer and get caught up in their tricks, just hang up right away and block the number so they cant call back again.

The person on the phone claimed I was part of an accident. I told them I was busy in a meeting and asked for their contact number so I could ring them back. They then asked once more, "Have you been in an accident?" I gave the same reply again. After that, they just ended the call.

This woman from some place named Adept rang me saying I’d been in a car crash recently or something. I hadn’t even let her get through her spiel before I told her to remove my number and stop calling. Right after that, she just hung up on me.

Got a call from this number today but I didnt pick up. My phone’s brand new along with this number, just got it and haven’t given it out or even called anyone from it yet. So obviously it looks like a random scam call. I looked it up on Google and turns out it’s telemarketers spamming random numbers, just like I thought. I’ve now installed "t####ER" on the phone and blocked this number straight away.

Personal injury lawyer calling - "I heard you got into a car crash that wasn’t your fault. Is that correct?" I'd bet this is a bogus number. The voice on the other end sounded like a robot, especially since she interacted with my voicemail system ;-)

It’s quite probable that this number isn’t genuine. The voice I encountered could very well be an automated message - considering she had a natter with my voicemail instead. 😉
