Some bloke called saying he was with BT and told me there was a problem with my internet that showed on their system. He asked what gadget I was using and said an engineer would help me sort it. I said it was a laptop and he told me to switch it on. I told him my wife was already using it for work, so it was on, but he kept talking over me. I said I didn’t want to disturb her job, told him to ring after 4pm, then ended the call. Feels like it was a scam to me.
