Got a call from some robotic voice asking if I’d been in a crash or something. Sounded dodgy, like one of those scam accident claim lines. Didn’t stick around for that, just blocked the number straight away.

I got this call about some accident, right? As soon as i answered yes to the automated voice, another bloke came on the line. He kept saying he was only trying to verify my personal info, but it sounded a bit dodgy to me.

most times they kick off by saying they’ve been told about a crash involving a car registered in my name, claiming the road traffic accident office dropped them a line.
