Got a robocall the other day from what looked like BT, though the number kept changing. They said something about illegal stuff happening on my router and my internet would get cut off in a day. I pressed 1 and ended up speaking to someone who told me there was an issue with my router and they needed to access my PC. That’s when I hung up and blocked the caller straight away.

I had just been chatting with BT earlier about setting up a broadband account when this guy rang me up. He claimed to have some exclusive offers supposedly from BT. As soon as I mentioned I’d already dealt with BT that day, he just ended the call. Quite weird!

This number keeps leaving voicemails accusing me of some illegal internet stuff, which is really worrying. I’ve had a similar message before and decided to look into it since I’m not involved in anything dodgy. These claims could seriously damage my good name and feels like harassment to me. It’s not okay at all. I’m hoping someone can report this to the right people because I’m not sure who that is. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks.
