My landline rang and there was an automated message saying my IP address was at risk and I had to press ‘1’ to fix it. I didn’t bite and just hung up straight away, figured it was a dodgy scam. Then I blocked the number and switched on call blocking to be safe.

Got a call earlier that sounded like one of those overseas ones, they said they were from BT Tech Support or something like that. Didn’t hang around to hear what the fuss was about though.
