I’m quite baffled by the whole situation. The chap on the other end of the line seemed to provide misleading details, which he appeared to be perfectly at ease with. However, the moment I declined the life insurance offer, he promptly ended the call. What's odd is that I couldn’t trace the number when I tried calling it back from my workplace. It’s all rather peculiar, and I can’t help but wonder who they actually are.
