Seems dodgy, could be a scam.

This bloke claimed he was from Sky, trying to upgrade my sim card from 4G to 5G. He told me to check the notifications on my phone by pulling down the top bar. Then, some kind of email supposedly from Google showed up but I didn’t open any of it. When I said I hadn’t got anything, he insisted I pull down the notifications again. He started asking me to fiddle with my settings and waiting for some kind of verification code. At one point he asked me to read out one of two numbers I was getting. I got quite mixed up and said I'd ring my son for help. He kept saying it wasn’t necessary and that I was handling it fine. I mentioned my son’s a police officer a few times and that I’d rather wait for him, then the man said he’d call back later.

Got a call from someone claiming they were from Sky, saying they could help cut down my bill. Seemed a bit fishy to me.
