3 yearsI got a call from a guy with a thick accent, was hard to understand him. Claimed to be from Sky and said my bills were too expensive, offering me a refund of £220. He already had my name and address but kept asking for my dob and bank details, which I gave him fake ones. When he wanted my bank account number, I said he could just send me a cheque instead. He replied something like “if it’s just one person, that might work.” I told him straight up it was a scam and hung up. He sounded a bit desperate at the end.
