Totally out of the blue!6 yearsthis guy from some “investment firm” won’t stop ringing me up, even though I told him i’m not interested and asked him to take my info off their list. he actually said he’d bother me every single day - real pleasant, huh? when i threatened to get the cops involved, he just hung up on me.6 yearsI got a call from someone claiming to be from this company, and they were really pushy trying to shove a telemarketing spiel down my throat. I quickly told them to stop and asked them to take my number off their list, but the bloke flat out refused. When I asked to talk to his boss, a woman answered without even saying who she was, just asked for my name and where I lived. I gave her my first name and country, which wasn’t a problem, but when she demanded the exact location of my home, I wouldn’t give it. I asked again for her to remove my number, but she said no. I told her that if I’m directly asking, she’s supposed to comply. She then asked what I expected about other companies ringing me. I said I’d keep asking them to remove me too. She went on about how she wanted to be an IT consultant but now couldn’t, and basically said I had no choice but to get her calls. I told her she could still train up to be one if she wanted, and reminded her I’m on the Telephone Preference Service and could report her.
