This number has been blowing up my phone all day, really pushy bloke claiming he’s with BT Openreach and dropping your name. Even if you cut the call, he’s straight back on the line again. Quite annoying!

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming they were from BT. Didn’t trust it and just went ahead and blocked the number straight away.

Answered the phone and all I could hear was this weird background sound, like a busy office or something, but no one actually spoke. Then, out of nowhere, the call just ended.

Got two calls back to back in less than 10 minutes, from someone claiming to be BT Openreach. But the bloke had an Asian accent and gave me an English name?? They went on about some hackers trying to get into my broadband, said they’d cut off my line to stop it. Didn’t let them get anywhere near asking for any of my details though - I pretty much told them to shove off (or something close to that!) so I could make a note for the Police and Action Fraud.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he was from BT, but it was clear he wasn’t. Couldn't answer any of my questions like asking for my BT account ID. Total scam, definitely a fraud.
