I reckon it was some kinda fake male voice, maybe a recording, but I doubt having it recorded would make a difference. They claimed to be from BT tech support, saying they'd cut my internet in 24 hours because they’d noticed hacking on my IP. Kept asking me to press certain numbers on my phone. Felt like a total scam.

I got a call from someone claiming to be the BT Tech Department saying my internet was at risk. They told me to press 1 if I needed BT support or 2 for another provider. I just ended the call straight away.
