02081232600 belongs to a business consultancy that Mr Pervias is linked with, I found out today. Might be worth giving him a ring and telling him how fed up you are with these random calls.

Got a call from Edinburgh, claiming to be from 118, but they wouldn’t stop jabbering or actually answer what I asked, so I just ended the call. No sooner had I hung up than the same voice rang back but said they were in Bournemouth this time. I ended that call too, then they tried again, now saying they were in Redruth. Unless they’ve magically figured out how to be everywhere at once or can teleport, this has scam written all over it.

Got a call from a bloke with quite a strong South Asian accent. He said he was from 118-online and wanted to do some sort of "research," but it seemed like he was just trying to fish for info. Could hear loads of noise in the background, like a busy call centre or something.
