I received a call from what appeared to be a local line, and the chap on the other end introduced himself as 'Chris' from ICS in Manchester. However, the moment I inquired about how he managed to get hold of my number, he abruptly hung up on me. Quite suspicious, isn't it?

Earlier today, I got a rather peculiar phone call from this number. A fellow on the other end enquired about me, and upon revealing that I’m Mrs ***, I was met with an earsplitting screech before the call abruptly terminated. Curious, I attempted to ring back from my work phone, only to be greeted by a recorded message stating that the number was not in operation. It’s all rather odd and has left me feeling a bit uneasy, especially considering that a local number seemed to be familiar with my name and potentially other private information.

I've received a whole heap of calls from this number, and every time I pick up, there's nothing but silence on the other end. It’s driving me up the wall, to be perfectly honest! I’ve even shouted a few choice words into the phone. As an older woman, I find this quite unsettling, to say the least.
