Some time back, scammers used my phone number to make spoof calls. I reported it to the police, and thankfully those scam calls have mostly stopped now. Unfortunately, our little business has suffered quite a bit because of all the trouble caused by that spoofing.

I didn’t pick up originally, but then I rang back and got through to someone. I told them I’d seen their call earlier, and they said sorry, explaining their phone number had been hacked and it’s been happening for a while. Definitely seems like a scam, but the real owner of the number doesn’t seem to be the one behind it.

Got a call on my landline, which is registered with the TPS, and it was a recorded voice claiming to be from my bank. It warned about some dodgy transactions and told me to press a button to stop the payments. Totally a scam in my opinion. Best thing to do is just ignore and hang up.

Got a recorded call saying it’s from my bank warning me about some dodgy card charges. Total scam, stay well clear!
