Got a call from someone claiming to be from “domestic” about a kitchen appliance. When I asked which one, he said Bosch. Then he fumbled around some papers and said it was a washing machine. Problem is, I don’t even own a Bosch washing machine! Strange thing was, he just left the phone open for a bit like he was chatting with someone else nearby. Definitely felt like one of those dodgy sales scam calls.

They were attempting to take over my IP address, just like was explained up there.

Got a call from some automated voice with a very strong American accent, claiming to be from my “internet company”. They said hackers from “all over the world” had accessed my connection and if I didn’t act fast my internet would be shut off in a day. Then it asked me to press 1 to talk to a “technician” about getting a new “row-ter” (not sure if they meant router, said it funny). Definitely sounded like a total scam to me.

Got a call at 11:25 on my landline, but as soon as I picked up, the line just cut out. Decided to block the number so they don’t bother me again.
